John L. Vogt, the baker, on Pennsylvania Avenue was my gg-grandfather's cousin and was the reason why my immediate ancestors came to this country and became bakers and U.S. citizens. My father is John L. Vogt, Jr., although the name connection has been passed down somewhat erratically at best. Thanks so much for this website.
